Koala Beach (Ulysses)

Koala (Callala) Beach is near Jervis Bay and is one of the most beautiful bay areas I have seen. All I wanted to do when I laid eyes on it was to package it and take it home to share with those less privileged. The 20-30 cm waves crashing onto the white, squeeky sand made a perfectly relaxing splashhhh from left to right with a couple of seagull sound effects thrown in....aaah!

For the first time this season I didn't wear a Tshirt layer under my jumper... the sunshine reflected off that white beach was truly producing some heat. It might soon be time to take out the winter insert...ah I can't wait for things to get back to 'balmy'.

Back on the bike after that quick visual feast and it was time for lunch at the Callala township. This is the second time I have been here with Ulysses. There is a little shopping centre, a fish n chip place, amenities and plenty of parking on Thursdays. The group usually divides and congregates around a few scattered tables along the North facing grassy areas overlooking the bay.

Discovering new places is always a pleasurable side effect of motorcycle riding with groups.
