Hartley Vale- The Comet Inn (Ulysses)

It was a 9am call for the ride to Wollombi. I was all set to go to meet the GirlsRideOut ride at Berowra, but my battery went soft on me...
Popped it on the charger and waited...waited...waited....no green light. Called the NRMA guy and by 10:30 I was on the road with a recommendation to take the Ninjalista for a good run.

I'm not too familiar with the Wollombi run, so in the end I decided to meet my Ulysses chapter up at the Comet Inn at Hartley Vale for lunch. I got there before every one else, having unknowingly passed the group stopped for 'morno' somewhere along the way.
My regards to Bronwyn Herrman's relative, who gave me directions when I was under the impression that Hartley and Hartley Vale were just about the same place. His invaluable advice saw me avoid another bit of dirt....aaargh...gravel and I don't get on...if I only knew what happened to my GPS headphones...

We had lunch at the Comet Inn.

I think on my way back to the Gong (via the Northern Road) around Narellen I spotted a few of the GRO ladies going the other way.
