I tried really hard to be on time.
I made it. Just!
Why is it, that every time I am about to go for a ride with people I discover that I need to get petrol?
My life is one big crisis management... planing and preparing for my activities does not seem to be a priority. However, it seems to provide some sort of thrill that takes me to the edge...one way or another.
So, once I got on the road and the fun bits were out of the way, I decided to take it easy and take some pictures along the way. Did a bit of corner marking...almost had Wendy falling off her bike laughing at my antics, but you got to have fun while you wait! I stuck with DZ and Onya, who is on her L's, to give her some feedback once we got there. She did not need any.The day was simply gorgeous. It was filled with a really pleasing tinge. All the people that turned up were lovely and everyone had something positive to say.
The food was accompanied by an old timer's jazz band, which made everybody tap their toes at one time or another and as a bonus we had front row seats to watch a procession of antique bikes go past on their way to Berry.
Fun, fun, fun!
On the way back Joey and I accompanied Onya to Kiama, but she stuck to her speed limit of 80 and of cause we gained a little distance. Deciding to wait, we pulled up behind a couple of police cars...I know how bad that must have looked! But no, it was not the case! The only thing that worried me a little was that there was a sign saying strictly no stopping...police vehicles only... doh!
Going home via Jamberoo was just the ticket. Hardly any traffic!
Nice catching up with everybody! See you soon.
