Have you ever been so excited to go for a ride that you kept checking the glow from the digi clock every time you come close to consciousness?
12:45...rediculous!
3:30...not even close
5:47...I could check the BOM site, but don't want to wake DaMan
6:01...I wonder if the bike will start. The battery is new. Why should it not start? It's been two and a half weeks!
Did I leave the grips on? I did not use the grips on the last ride...relax, it will start.
6:36...oops! I was asleep just then...doh!
6:40...I'm checking the BOM site
6:41...I am writing this. Weather looks good enough...take wets in case...
We have been penned up for a week with rain and another with work. My last ride was the Baton Ride and its memory is fading.
Today we'll have lunch by the water...it'll be nice to catch up!
Time to get up and going...
Thanks for this pic, Trevor!
Well I was on time for a change!
We experienced half a dried Mac Pass...the top half was misty and still sporting a fairly debris-rich road, but pretty good riding. Saddleback lookout featured a sensational view to be enjoyed with plenty of mist in the air and some lovely tourists joining us. To think that this is our backyard...well put Leonard!
Then we made our way down to Greenwell Point, where the Angler's Rest provided great service and frrrrresh blackfish for lunch.
Wendy and Alan found us too.
Trevor took a grand group photo too. Thank you...nice to see myself for a change...
