Fawlty Towers

What a night! A fabulous audience, a full house, a sensational cast, an evening filled with laughter and applause. We had a ball! There was not a dry eye in the house and the evening was a total success, even though technology did let us down... twice. Once a sound effect decided to play itself ahead of schedule and the other time was when the lights went down for at least a five minute stretch. We were also quite surprised when at the beginning and the end of the show we had additional content in the guise of an intro and an unscheduled curtain call nobody knew anything about.

Everybody was happy and even though I had to tell an overzealous audience member to 'shut it' after he kept reciting Manuel's punch lines quite loudly... and ahead of time, the play worked well and we all got lots of compliments. Certainly a night to remember!

I am delighted at the effort made by the cast and crew.

Another show tomorrow...

Bryan rode to the venue and by the end of the night it was bucketing down with thunderstorms causing havoc on the roads. His black sheepskin seat cover on his Buell must have been absolutely soaked before he even started the ride home.
