Today was a simply glorious day and I decided to take on some macro shooting of plants and flowers. To get the 'real' picture click on it...
Here are a couple of my 'Snowballs' pictures. I used to have a couple of sizable bushes, but somehow the drought got to them and the heat did not do them a good deal. I love having them around. They remind me of German Winter fun and games...This is The Bowlo, where the Farty Towels Dinnershow is about to be performed. The greenkeeper does have a green thumb. Here are some examples of his handywork.
Isn't it a stunning shade of blue?!
This one is just saturated with colour and the texture of the flowers was quite like fine velvet. These geraniums grown from a cutting have totally taken over my gardens and add a definite touch of colour to every corner. they bloom for ages and seem to be resistant to anything.
I like this picture below because this is not a look-at-me kind of flower, but rather unobtrusive and possibly a little under rated. However, the dappled shade allowed me to shoot it with a tiny little glimpse of rear light illuminating the base of the flower.
This is a stunning native. I only bought it last year and it has been battling some disease, but it has come through!
Some more...
Last, but not least, the side view...
