Helmet Hair?

Once I started riding back in the 70s I never really suffered from Helmet Hair. I used to have long hair, but it was always permed and wild. A quick shake of the untamed locks and it's set.

Once I had embraced a more graceful 'Bob' and vowed to shun spending hours allowing the acid to penetrate the texture of hair, whilst wound tightly and professionally around those tiny little rollers, I realised that fine hair will not do as it is told. Especially not when it spends a couple of hours or so under a tightly fitting helmet.

Well, I took note of my male counterparts and saw that short hair dos don't look too badly after the lid gets removed and that's when I had it chopped too, but still... it just does what it likes.

Perhaps I just needed to change my shampoo...
