Today I met Tracy at the South Coast Blood Bank to dwell amongst blood suckers... finally! I have no idea why I did not do it earlier...after all, it's not like donating your kidney, is it?!
You know who your friends are when they hold your hand while the needle disappears in your vein. She certainly stayed with me every step of the way. Good on you Trace!
It felt incredible afterwards. I'd finally done something for the greater good. Hmmm... I'll be back!
Take note: The annual competition between NSW Police vs Motorcyclists (Blood Donation) now scores one more for the riders!
