Frankly, I am appalled!

I picked up a free Motorcycle Mag, the March issue. It was the last one in the basket and I felt lucky. Yeah sure, it's all advertising, but there are some interesting goodies to read about... so I made it through to the 'letter to the editor' section and of cause, the best letter wins something.

One looong bit of garble went on about Phillip being the captain of a rigg, a mobile home/caravan of some sort, making his way along the old road or Bell's, who knows.... I threw the paper out in disgust... It was the 3rd of Feb and there were at least 50 something bikes on the road...yes, he had the time to count them carefully... crawling up a hill of which he knows it would be popular with motorcyclists and motoring enthusiasts.

He listed all the evils in one paragraph...loud aftermarket exhausts...overtaking over double lines...pushing back in... and finished that paragraph with something like...at least a third of them were female riders. Very unobtrusively tagged onto a list of negative statements, here we go, ladies!

Outrageous!

I find that positioning most offensive.... how about 'two thirds were male riders', eh?

...and what gets my ghoulies is that the editor decides to reward this pompous bloke with goodies. You bunch of hypocratic do-gooders!

That's the last time I'm going out of my way to get my hands on that glossy bit of toilet paper!
