The old Chemist building in Lueneburg. This place largely escaped those air raids during WWII and avoided being used for target practise. Many buildings were preserved, but a saltmine beneath the town had an unforseen impact on many foundations. There is not one straight wall in the place...I could not help myself...this was one of the great examples of...well, what can I say?...
There is a story to this picture... one day my parents went for a walk along this little lake and saw something at the window of this little hunter's hut. "oh, look, they are displaying the head of a dear at the window", said my father. My mother saw it too and had a little chuckle at the practical joke. They went on and a couple of steps closer the head moved and the dear ran off... the things we see...
A baby oak tree.
