It's been raining for so long...

Things are getting a little frustrating lately. Everyone I know has been affected one way or another by the wet weather we've been having. People are getting less tolerant and some are quite close to being somewhat depressed. The Sportsfields have been closed for at least two weeks now and physical activity other than the Gym is currently at a back burner.

Motorcyclists generally dislike the wet weather. That's of cause not only because slippery roads test our luck, but people in cars do seem to instantly lack at least 50% of their average intelligence as soon as those drops splash across their windscreen. Understandably any vehicle operator battles with lack of visibility, but it seems as if drivers regress to the early days of driving life and make choices that on an average dry day just would not cut it.

Whilst the rider's brain seems to work overtime, drivers just seem to get mesmorised by the tapping of drops. How else do you explain sudden lane changes, blinding high beams, unpredictable sverving to avoid puddles, unreasonable speeds, too slow or too pushy, too close etc, etc, etc

What's going on?! Please explain...
